Continuing the famous line of watches the Swiss watchmaker once again launched an amazing line a brand new elegant, glamorous and complicated mechanical watches. Breitling for Bentley has now a new Mark VI design, which respects the tradition of the British brand.One of the variations from the new line of Breitling for Bentley is a watch that includes a mechanical complexity, which encompasses centuries of fine horological knowledge. From all the lots, bidders from Hong Kong, Switzerland, and The Russian Federation sold 84.58 percent by lot and 119.34 % by value."We are very pleased by the outcome of today's sale which reflects the willingness of collectors to pay premium prices for timepieces that have never been seen at auction before," outlined Julien Schaerer, Watch Director and Auctioneer, Antiquorum USA. The star of the auction was a Patek Philippe Ref. 2497, First Series, which was sold for $ 624,400. In addition, other models from the famous Swiss watch manufacturer were sold as well, including a white gold Ref. The sophisticated mechanism of the new Mark VI Complication 29 includes 500 parts. the timepieces includes: a chronograph, able to estimate 1/4 of a second, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, perpetual calendar with date, day, week, month, as well as season and even moon phases. The case of the watch has 42mm and it is 100 meters water resistant due to a sapphire crystal covering the face.
